Episode Description

I’m excited to share my recent appearance on the Brave Bold Brilliant podcast with Jeannette Linfoot.

For years, I operated in “go mode”—running companies, raising a family, and pushing through exhaustion. But eventually, chronic stress caught up with me. I experienced significant weight gain, early perimenopause symptoms, emotional eating, and a series of health scares that forced me to stop and take a hard look at the way I was living.

What followed wasn’t another diet or quick fix. It was a complete shift in how I approached my health, my mindset, and my relationship with myself.

During this episode, Jeannette and I discuss:

• Why extreme dieting often backfires and can lead to long-term weight gain
• The powerful connection between muscle, metabolism, and healthy aging
• How proper nutrition can help reduce common perimenopause symptoms
• The role stress plays in weight gain, fatigue, and hormonal imbalance
• How emotional eating develops and what it takes to break the cycle
• My “internal board meeting” approach to recognizing self-sabotaging patterns before they take over

One of the most important lessons I share is that health cannot be built through punishment. Lasting transformation happens when we learn to work with our bodies instead of constantly fighting against them.

Thank you to Jeannette Linfoot for creating space for such an open and meaningful discussion.

Episode Description

This week, I joined Lara Portelli on the Midlife Unplugged TV Show for one of the most honest conversations I’ve had about midlife – messy symptoms, emotional spirals, medical gaslighting, and all.

If you’ve ever rushed to the ER convinced something was seriously wrong only to be told “it’s just stress”, this episode will feel painfully familiar. I’ve lived those moments too—the racing heart, the “am I losing it?” panic, the feeling that your body is betraying you with no explanation.

Lara and I dive into the topics so many women whisper about but rarely say out loud:
• Hormone chaos and how it impacts mood, energy, and identity
• Fear and confusion around HRT
• Doctors who dismiss symptoms or blame everything on “stress”
• Letting go of people-pleasing to protect your mental and physical health
• The emotional toll of feeling unheard, unseen, or misunderstood

If you’re navigating your 30s or 40s and wondering what’s happening to your body, this conversation is a breath of relief, honesty, and sisterhood.

In this episode we go over:

What happens when the business is thriving… but your body, health, and identity are falling apart?

In my latest podcast feature with Christine Hakkola, we dig into a raw and honest chapter of my life — the one most people never see behind the highlight reel. Before becoming a wellness coach and founder of THOR: The House of Rose, I built a 40-person digital agency, pushed myself past every limit, and ultimately hit rock bottom at 37.

Two ER visits, daily panic attacks, and 80 pounds of weight gain later, I finally faced the truth:

Success built the wrong way will cost you everything.

This episode explores what happened next — and how I rebuilt my health, my mindset, and my business from the ground up.

What We Cover in This Conversation

• Burnout as a wake-up call
My panic attacks weren’t random. They were the result of years of running out of alignment with my values, my wiring, and my capacity.

• The real cost of scaling for the wrong reasons
The problem was never the size of my business. It was that I didn’t want the problems that came with it.

• Rebuilding a business that actually fits your life
I went from a 40-person team to a tightly aligned group of 8 with clear roles, strong boundaries, and a company that finally supports the life I want, not the life I was trying to outrun.

• Why midlife changes everything
Health, hormones, stress, and emotional patterns all collide in midlife. We talk about how that shift forced me to redesign everything: my habits, my identity, and my definition of success.

• Creating a life aligned with who you are now
This isn’t just a story about losing 80 pounds. It’s about learning to listen to your body, respect your limits, and build a career that supports your well-being instead of draining it
